Bridal & Party Mehndi Artist in Peterborough

By Roubina is a mehndi and henna artist based in Peterborough, creating beautiful, long-lasting designs for weddings, mehndi nights, Eid, Diwali, parties and photoshoots. Every design is drawn freehand and tailored to you — your outfit, your event and the look you love — using natural henna for a rich, deep stain.

Mehndi styles we create

  • Bridal mehndi — intricate, detailed designs across the hands, arms and feet for your wedding.
  • Arabic mehndi — bold, flowing floral trails with elegant open space.
  • Indo-Arabic & traditional — richly layered detailing for a full, ornate finish.
  • Minimal & modern — delicate motifs for a contemporary, understated look.
  • Party & guest henna — quick, pretty designs for Eid, parties and events.

Perfect for every occasion

Whether it is a full bridal set for your mehndi night, coordinated designs for the wedding party, or henna for an Eid or Diwali gathering, we tailor the coverage and style to the celebration. Many brides book mehndi alongside makeup and brows as one coordinated package.

We are based in Peterborough and are happy to travel for bridal and event bookings across Cambridgeshire and the wider region — including Cambridge, Stamford, Huntingdon, Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton and London. Share your venue and date and we will confirm the details.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to hire a mehndi artist?

It depends on the design, the coverage (hands, arms and feet), how many people need mehndi, and your date and location. Message us on WhatsApp with your details and we will send a personalised quote — there is no fixed one-size price for bridal work.

How far in advance should I book bridal mehndi?

As early as you can — several months ahead for weddings, especially over peak wedding and festival season, when dates book up quickly. Party and Eid bookings usually need less notice.

How long does the henna last?

Natural henna develops over 24–48 hours and typically lasts around one to two weeks, depending on your skin and aftercare. We only use natural henna — never so-called 'black henna'.
